It's been a little quiet around here lately... and thats a good thing.
After 3 months traveling hard for a dream job it was time to hang up our hats for a bit and take a breather. Lucky for us we have an absolutely perfect spot to do this. It's a little cabin tucked away at the end of a dirt road.
You can just make out Scout in the backyard if you squint.
Spending time here also means we get to reconnect with our old bitch Ruth! She’s almost 11 and in great dane years thats like 111(bagginssessss). What does a day look like for an 11 year old great dane…? Lots of slow walks in the woods, laying in the grass by the pond and sleeping. Which is exactly what I’ve been doing lately too.
We’ve also been taking advantage of the down time. New marketing materials, a brand new print book, plenty of improvements to Scout, lots of new ideas and I finally finished a project that was on the back burner for a year. We plan on hitting the ground running when we finally hit the road again.
When is that and where are we heading? Good questions.
We have a few jobs coming up in WNY and then another trip to Brazil (twice in 2 months!) for a video shoot. So...by the time thats all wrapped it will be almost the end of July and we will have been in one place for almost 3 months(kinda). Itchy feet are already itchin…
Alaska is high on the list for the next destination but the earth tilts and winter comes early up there. We'll see... stay tuned!
